The NEW Online RADEP Program is a 12‑hour court‑mandated education program designed for drivers referred for non‑alcohol‑related reckless or aggressive driving offenses. The curriculum supports behavior change, improved decision-making, and safer driving practices.
The full 12-hour requirement is completed through two online courses:
• 8-Hour Alternative Behavior Choices (ABCs) in Driving
Focuses on defensive driving strategies, roadway awareness, and safe-driving practices.
• 4-Hour Defensive Driving Course (DDC)
Addresses the attitudes, triggers, and behaviors associated with reckless and aggressive driving.
To meet court requirements, both online courses must be completed.
Driver Registration Process
Clients referred by your ASAP clinic can self-register by visiting: https://www.drivesafe.com/vasap/
At registration, drivers must:
Select the RADEP course option
Choose their referring ASAP clinic name (Rockingham-Harrisonburg ASAP) from the drop-down menu
Enter their referring court name
Submit payment (all RADEP registrations are non‑refundable)
This ensures accurate routing, tracking, and certificate generation.
